SPORTS
Rochelle middle school students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of extracurricular sports. Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA and have no major discipline referrals. Student athletes practice after school, playing home and away games against other school teams. This competition develops great friendships, teamwork and a good work ethic for students. A completed Athletic Participation and Preparation Physical form must be on file before the student may try out, practice or play.
The Rochelle Extramural sports available are:
- Quarter 1: Girls Basketball and Boys & Girls Cross Country
- Quarter 2: Boys Basketball and Girls Volleyball
- Quarter 3: Boys & Girls Soccer
- Quarter 4: Boys & Girls Track and Boys & Girls Golf
Other Activities Include:
- Elementary Chorus (4th and 5th)
- Recorders
- Hand bells
- Chess
- Guitar
- National Junior Honor Society (7th and 8th grade)
- A-Team (Academic Team, 5th grade)
- Movie Club
